There were three volunteer members besides myself and our team leader, Maisie, doing this project. Our job was to take out the weeds and remove foreign plants from the garden area of the park by the entrance. Maisie has been working to keep the garden area at the park in good condition and as well as a load of other places as well. As a volunteer, I learned that by serving the community, meeting the people and learning about the people there is important.
