The slippery slope fallacy states that if we allow or do one thing, it will inevtiably lead to another.
Using profanity in front of your children will lead them not getting a good job and being homeless.
By using profanity in front of your children they will learn and remember those words. When they get to middle school and high school, they will awlays use those words, be expelled from school constantly and develop bad behavior. By being expelled from school, they will not learn anything and wont get into college. By not going to college, they will not get a job and will not have money, and eventually end up homeless.

Hi Colin,
This is a very common one and one that I thought of doing before seeing your post. We see a lot of good examples of the slippery slope on the news whenever something political comes up like abortion or gun control. I have also seen the example you describe about how hanging out with the wrong crowd will have lasting consequences on a person’s life.
