What issues do you care about? <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We are beginning to work on the argumentative essay. Please review the guidelines in the course packet and let me know if you have any questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity <\/strong>2: What does the word “research” mean? <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

What does successful research look like? What are reliable sources? How can we distinguish them from the unreliable ones?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ask that you access two databases via the BMCC library. Please watch a few brief videos for more information: Introduction<\/a> to BMCC library databases + CQ Researcher & Opposing Viewpoints <\/a>+ Access from Home\/ outside of BMCC & help<\/a> + Evaluating Information<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the BMCC database, find at least 2<\/strong> of the 3 sources<\/strong> you use in the final essay. You can find all your sources here too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity 3: Create and take quiz 5.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Create a quiz that consists of 3-5 questions about the argument project, CQ Researcher and\/ or Opposing Viewpoints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
