This use can be helpful but it can also bring some ethical concerns. I believe this integration can lead to effective crime prevention, but it can also lead to discrimination because not all of the science studies are 100% accurate, so the result that they get from a small sample (group of people), they could generalize the results or they can relate it to racial or socioeconomic groups. This means that those groups are going to be attacked just because of the generalization. There’s the risk of just focusing on biological explanations and not focusing on real situations in the society. There might be some other reasons for people to commit crimes, and that could be their environment, social class, or their economy. This doesn’t necessarily relates to the biological explanations. Another risk that might outweigh the potential benefits is the ethical concerns about their privacy and consent. Some people might feel uncomfortable at the fact of knowing their genetic information is being used to know if they will or will not be criminals. Additionally, their findings can be misused by scientists, policymakers, any law enforcement agency or the public. This can lead to ineffective policies, more discrimination by the public, and even more harm from others. Overall, it is very essential to approach this research with caution, keeping in mind every individual rights at the moment of any genetic or biological interventions, and making sure that it is all proven with evidence.

Yes, the integration of genetics and biology into criminology should be approached with caution due to the significant ethical implications and risks associated with using biological factors to predict and prevent criminal behavior.
