Ever since her previous boss left, Harper\u2019s job responsibility increased with more work load. Her previous boss Jose used to manage her and another colleague, so he was able to give attention to her and recognize the hard work that she did. But Harper\u2019s new boss has to manage the whole group, so he doesn&#8217;t have time to go to everyone and check on them. That&#8217;s why he is not available if Harper needs help and doesn&#8217;t recognize her for her hard work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you were an HR manager meeting with Harper\u2019s supervisor, David, what advice would you give to help them re-engage Harper?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If I was an HR manager, I would advise David to hold a monthly meeting for the employees and acknowledge them for their hard work. I think the manager should also do the employee of the month. That way the employees will be motivated to perform their best and will be appreciated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What would be the downside of losing Harper as an employee?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Losing Harper as an employee would be a downside because she is an amazing employee and very hard working.
