Our Segment E Assignment<\/strong> will apply students\u2019 understanding of Ethics, Social Responsibility, and Employee Relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In today\u2019s day and age, it is no longer acceptable for businesses to disregard issues related to ethics and social responsibility. Choose a company that you interact with regularly (your favorite fast food restaurant, sneaker brand, or store to buy clothing) and do some research on their social responsibility efforts and ethical principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a 1-2 page paper and in your own words, briefly describe what this organization is doing now with regard to corporate social responsibility and pursuing sustainable business practices.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Think broadly about what to consider: philanthropy, energy conservation, sustainable supply chains, reducing carbon footprint, fair trade, community service, volunteerism, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on your understanding of the organization\u2019s goals, what recommendations do you have for how to create a more ethical, socially responsible, and\/or sustainable business? What practices do you recommend the organization pursue?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
