When it gets rainy and cloudy outside so chilly it seeps into my bones, there is nothing I want to do more than get a book off my shelf and get lost in the words of each page, seeking a new adventure every time the weather is as gloomy as it can get. With the weather changing I find myself leaning towards books that emit the same feeling as the downpour outside, like The Song of Achilles<\/em> by Madeline Miller whose ending is always the same no matter how many times I reread it in hopes of it changing. It is so beautifully written in a way that it gives you hope it ends different each time you flip the familiar pages and read the same words over and over again. As often as I read it and hope for another ending, it is always the same ending to the same story, staying consistent just like the rain that falls and umbrellas that follow creating the pitter patter of rain hitting a surface. One common theme both have is the melancholy feeling that is left behind when they both come to an end.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
