And as someone who has never been inclined to believe in magic or the supernatural, I was skeptical about how much I would enjoy a book about a woman who finds out that magic is real and part of her inheritance. But as I turned the pages, I quickly realized that belief in magic is beside the point<\/span> because life itself always finds ways to surprise us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dolbeare has crafted a world where the extraordinary feels unsettlingly close to reality, weaving together vivid dreamscapes and unexplainable phenomena in a way that keeps the reader hooked. The characters are flawed, real, and compelling, navigating a reality that is splintered<\/span> both metaphorically and literally.<\/span><\/p>\n
