I am from Brooklyn, New York. I am a female, and South Asian. My major is Biology, as I plan on to work in the medical field. I\u2019m not sure what career I exactly want to go for, but it\u2019s either something under the field of neurology, or dermatology. I don\u2019t have many hobbies, I mostly just create art.<br \/>\nI took this class as not only did I need to fulfill a transferring requirement, but also I found this class very interesting as it focuses more on Asian American history. Asian American history isn\u2019t taught much in schools, so I liked that such a diverse course is offered. I also like how inclusive this course is as this course doesn\u2019t just focus on one group of Asians, but rather Asian Americans of different origin such as South Asians.
