For instance, in \u201cUnprotected by Assimilation: Lessons from the Case of Duy Ngo\u201d by Phi, he discusses how an Asian cop got shot and paralyzed by a white police officer. The officer who got shot was supposedly mistaken for a criminal or gang member and was shot by a colleague police officer which left him unable to move causing disability.
