The allocation for Spring 2026 is $250.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ASAP Enrollment<\/strong>: You must be an active ASAP student at BMCC for Spring 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Class Registration<\/strong>: Register for Spring 2026 classes. For assistance with enrollment, contact your ASAP Academic Advisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial Aid Applications<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\">FAFSA <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hesc.ny.gov\/find-aid\/nys-grants-scholarships\/tuition-assistance-program-tap\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hesc.ny.gov\/find-aid\/nys-grants-scholarships\/tuition-assistance-program-tap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TAP <\/a>applications for the 2025-2026 academic year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you\u2019re unable to apply for FAFSA, complete the TAP application via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hesc.ny.gov\/applying-aid\/nys-dream-act\/\">NYS DREAM Act<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/hesc.ny.gov\/altpath\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alternate Eligibility Pathway<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&#8217;re unable to apply for the above applications, email us at ASAPfinaid@bmcc.cuny.edu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR TEXTBOOK FUNDS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive your book funding by <strong>Direct Deposit<\/strong> or a <strong>Mailed Check.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Direct Deposit<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Funds will be deposited into your bank account if you&#8217;ve set up Direct Deposit on CUNYfirst.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/asapfinancialaid\/asap-textbook-set-up-direct-deposit\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1338\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click HERE<\/a> for Direct Deposit setup instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mailed Check<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you don\u2019t have Direct Deposit, funds will be mailed to your address on file in CUNYfirst.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/asapfinancialaid\/asap-textbook-update-your-mailing-address\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1341\">Click HERE<\/a> to update your mailing address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>WHEN TO EXPECT YOUR TEXTBOOK FUNDS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Direct Deposit<\/strong>: Estimated refund date: January 30th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mailed Check<\/strong>: Sent by <strong>02\/06\/26<\/strong> (can take 7-10 business days for check arrival)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Possible Reasons for Delayed Funds<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you did <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">not<\/span> receive the funds according to the dates above, it may be due to one or more of the following reasons:<br>1. Late class registration<br>2. Late financial aid&nbsp;submission<br>3. No direct deposit set up<br>4. Incorrect mailing address<br>5.
