Here are a few important reminders to help you stay on track with your financial aid and ASAP benefits.
- Complete Your FAFSA & TAP
- By now you should already have applied for FAFSA and TAP for the current aid year 2026-2027
- Non-FAFSA filers should apply for TAP through the NYS DREAM Act or Alternate Eligibility Path.
- Need help? Attend an upcoming FAFSA/TAP Completion Event: Access FAFSA/TAP Completion Events Here
- Check Your To-Do List: Log into CUNYfirst → then click Student Center → Tasks & Holds to complete any financial aid tasks.
- Review Your Financial Aid Awards
- In CUNYfirst, select:
- Financial Aid to review your award summary.
- Financial Account to confirm your tuition charges and that you have pending financial aid.
- In CUNYfirst, select:
- Stay Connected! Visit the ASAP Financial Aid OpenLab regularly for the latest announcements, important deadlines, workshops, guides, and other helpful resources throughout the semester.
