It should be a memory that comes easily to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Part B<\/strong>: Why do you think you remember this so well? The goal is to get it&nbsp;<em>out of your head<\/em>. Here are some ideas for what you could do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Verbally<\/strong>: Tell your memory to someone that you know. Can you make them feel the emotion?<\/li><li><strong>Written<\/strong>: Write your memory in less than a page. Do the emotions come out in your words?<\/li><li><strong>Visually<\/strong>: Express your memory using only lines and shapes. Identify the&nbsp;<strong>worlds<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>characters<\/strong>&nbsp;in each. Write these down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Who are the main characters?<\/li><li>Is there a character you identify with most?<\/li><li>Where does the movie take place? Is it one world or multiple worlds?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Part B<\/strong>: Try mixing a character and world from different movies. Try this a few times and see what happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Part C<\/strong>: Return to your three &#8220;what if&#8221; statements from the previous exercises. Pick your&nbsp;<strong>favorite<\/strong>&nbsp;one. Can you imagine a possible character and world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Part D:<\/strong>&nbsp;(optional) Draw or write about what life would be like in this world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to your Google Drive folder and create a Google Doc to write your ideas and responses.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advice from Storytellers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NL0KQu9JiDQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Glossary: Storytelling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a list of definitions introduced during this lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Story<\/strong>: a sequence of events which unfold through time.<\/li><li><strong>Perspective<\/strong>: a point of view or way of seeing the world.<\/li><li><strong>World<\/strong>: the environment or set of rules where a story takes place.<\/li><li><strong>Character<\/strong>: the subjects or individuals we follow on the journey of the story.<\/li><li><strong>Protagonist<\/strong>: the main character(s), whose journey the story is about<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective communication among peers is extremely important, and using the correct terminology will help you get your ideas across more effectively. Create a Google Doc in your Google Drive and name it The Art of Storytelling Glossary.
