Did any examples of new literacies surprise you? Are there any examples you disagree with?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I am completely honest, I had no clue what &#8220;New Literacies&#8221; was. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">what did you learn from this week&#8217;s assigned reading?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I learned that technology can help with literacy. Allowing students to research as well as letting students create media projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">4.<\/span><span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\"> what did you learn from this week&#8217;s assigned TedTalk? <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How quickly a photo can be taken from anywhere and be used in commercials or as a meme. How children now can easily do these things themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">What are some &#8220;New Literacies&#8221; that have helped you with your schooling?<\/span> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Explain<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would say online searches and messaging. Online searches allowed me to look up articles or photos I needed for class. Messaging allowed me to connect with other classes mates, regarding projects or assignments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Have you ever had to help someone with technology (New Literacies) who was not tech savvy? What was that experience like? <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be honest I was never in a position where someone wasn&#8217;t tech savvy. I could say I&#8217;ve helped looked up things for my grandmother online because she needed information on something. Not sure if that falls under that umbrella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">What is one &#8220;New Literacies&#8221; that you cannot live without?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Online searching, being able to search whatever I need. Whether for school or for myself. News from around the world, where now it is easier to access. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">8. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Explain your personality using only three emojis- what would they be?<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude02 \ud83e\uddd0 \ud83e\udd71 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What are some examples of new literacies?
